Preparing to Launch Your App
Updated 3 months agoLaunching your mobile app with Vegacart is easier than you might think. Whether this is your first app or you're switching from another solution, our team is here to guide you through each step, from account setup to going live on the App Store and Google Play.
This guide will walk you through everything you need to prepare before your app is submitted.
Before You Begin
To launch your app using Vegacart, your business must be a registered legal entity. This means your business should be listed as a private limited company, LLP, or similar structure depending on your country. If your business is registered as a sole proprietorship, you’ll need to upgrade your license before moving forward.
Also, keep in mind that both Apple and Google have their own timelines for developer account approvals. Google Play accounts can usually be set up within 30 minutes. Apple Developer accounts may take up to two weeks for full activation.
Step 1
Enroll in the Apple Developer Program
To launch your app on the App Store, you’ll need an Apple Developer account. Apple charges a yearly fee of $99. We recommend turning on auto-renew to avoid interruptions.
Step 2
Create a Google Play Developer Account
To publish your Android app, you’ll need to sign up for a Google Play Developer account. This is a one-time fee of $25. You’ll also need a Gmail account, so make sure that’s ready before you begin.
Step 3
Set Up Your App Listing
You’ll need a complete app listing before submitting your app. This includes your app name, short and long descriptions, preview screenshots, and most importantly a privacy policy. If your website doesn’t already have one, you’ll need to create a privacy policy page before launching. You can use free generators or consult legal tools if needed.
