Getting Started with Apple Developer Account

To launch your mobile app on the App Store, you need to enroll in the Apple Developer Program. This guide will walk you through each step of the registration process, so you can get started with your Vegacart-powered mobile app without any delays.

Before You Begin

There are a few important things to know before starting:

• Apple charges an annual fee of $99, which is required to maintain your account. We recommend enabling auto-renewal to avoid any interruptions.
  
  

• If you already have an Apple Developer account under an individual name, you can switch to a company account. Apple allows this change, and we’ve linked the steps for it at the end of this guide.
  
  

• Make sure your business already has a DUNS number before beginning the enrollment process. 

Step-by-Step Registration Process

1.Go to the Enrollment Page

Visit the Apple Developer Enrollment site

2. Start the Enrollment

Click the Start Your Enrollment button to begin

3. Sign In with Your Apple ID

Use an existing Apple ID or create a new one

4. Accept the Developer Agreement

Read through Apple’s Developer Agreement and check the box to accept it. Then click Submit.

5. Choose Your Entity Type

This step is crucial. Under Select Entity Type, choose Company/Organization. Do not select Individual/Sole Proprietor since Vegacart only supports organization-level developer accounts.

6. Enter Your Organization Details

Here you’ll be asked to enter your:

• Legal Entity Name (exactly as it appears on your business registration)

• DUNS Number. Make sure this information matches the details you received in your DUNS confirmation email

7. Add Your Contact Information

Use your personal contact information for verification. Be sure to include a direct phone number (not a virtual one) to avoid issues during Apple’s verification call

8. Agree to Terms

Check the box agreeing to the terms and select Continue

9. Review and Submit

Confirm all the information you’ve entered is correct, then click Submit

What Happens Next?

Apple usually responds within 24 to 48 hours by phone or email to verify your enrollment details.

Once verified, Apple will send a follow-up email prompting you to pay the $99 annual enrollment fee.

Log in to your Apple Developer dashboard, complete your billing details, and submit your payment. After payment, your account setup will be complete.

Final Step

After your account is active, it may take up to 24 hours for the payment to fully process. Once done, you can invite your Implementation Specialist to move forward with launching your app.
