DASHBOARD PRO OVERVIEW
Updated 1 month agoYou can view your mobile app’s performance metrics by heading to the ‘Insights’ tab in your Vegacart dashboard. This is your central hub for tracking key data, where all your metric cards are displayed to give you a quick overview of how your app is doing.
You can filter the analytics by custom time ranges. By default, the dashboard shows today's data compared to yesterday's. Want to check a different date range? Just click the date filter at the top left to adjust it.
Summary Cards
At the top of your Insights dashboard, you'll find a series of summary cards that give you a snapshot of your app’s key metrics. These include Sales, Sessions, and Retention, all essential to understanding user behavior and performance trends.
Sales Card
This card displays the total sales value (Gross Revenue minus Discounts) generated through your app within the selected time range.
Alongside this, you’ll see a percentage change compared to the same time range in the previous period. For example: If your app recorded ₹2,400 in sales this week and ₹1,800 last week, the dashboard will show a +33% increase.

Sessions
The Sessions Card keeps track of how many times users launched your app during the selected time frame. A session starts when the app comes to the foreground and ends when it’s inactive for 30 minutes.

Retention Card
This card compares how many users return to the app after their first session. It’s calculated as the ratio of returning sessions to new ones within the selected date
range.
For example: If your retention rate rose from 20% to 28%, that’s a +40% boost.

Mobile Revenue Graph
This graph plots your app’s total sales across the chosen time frame, side by side with the previous period’s sales trend.
Hover over a data point to see:
-
The exact sales amount at that time
-
Sales at the same time in the earlier period

App Activity Heatmap
This heatmap shows when your users are most active, broken down by day and hour. Darker shades indicate higher activity.
Hover over any cell to see the exact session count for that hour. You’ll also get a quick insight showing which hour of the week had the highest app traffic.

New vs Returning Sessions
This graph tracks how many sessions are new versus returning within the selected period.

Sessions by Platform
This card compares how many sessions came from iOS users vs Android users.
This is useful to:
-
Prioritize testing on the more dominant OS
-
Tailor push notifications or campaigns accordingly
-
Identify performance gaps between platforms
Example: If 70% of your sessions came from Android and 30% from iOS, you may want to consider optimizing your iOS experience.

New vs Returning Users
This section features a circle graph that visually breaks down your app users into two groups:
-
New Users – People using the app for the first time
-
Returning Users – People who’ve used the app before and came back
