Testing Your App with TestFlight

To begin testing, first download the TestFlight app:

Use this link: Download TestFlight

Or simply search for “TestFlight” in the App Store on your iPhone
Step 2: Add a User to App Store Connect
Before you can invite someone to TestFlight, they must be added to your Apple Developer account via App Store Connect.
Follow these steps:

Go to App Store Connect

Click on Users and Access

Tap the plus icon to add a new user

Enter their name, email, and assign the required permissions

Click Invite
Step 3: Send the TestFlight Invitation
Once your team member has access to App Store Connect:

Go to App Store Connect and select My Apps

Choose the app you want to test

Click on the TestFlight tab from the top menu

Under Internal Testing, click the plus icon to create a test group. If it does not already exist, name it something like App Store Connect Users

Create the group, then add testers by selecting their names and clicking Add
They’ll now receive a TestFlight invite via email.
Step 4: Accept the Test Invitation
Your tester will receive an email from TestFlight with a direct invite link. Here’s how they can start testing:

Open the email and click View in TestFlight

Copy the redemption code from the email

Open the TestFlight app on their iPhone

Tap on Redeem in the top right corner

Paste the redemption code and hit Install
That’s it. Your tester is now ready to explore the app, try out the latest updates, and send in feedback.
