How to Connect Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals + Vegacart

This integration is available to all Vegacart customers with an active Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals subscription.

Steps:

  1. Open your Shopify Dashboard and go to Apps.

  2. Select Loyalty & Referrals by Yotpo.

  3. Go to the Settings tab.

  4. Copy the following details from your Yotpo account:

    • API Token

    • GUID

    • Rewards Web URL

  5. In your Vegacart Dashboard, open the Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals integration page and enter the details above.

  6. Configure your display and content settings:

  • Your Balance Label – Customize how the balance is shown to customers.

  • Display Loyalty Type – Choose between showing total points or tier names for gamification.

  • Show/Hide Tiered Points Slider – Decide whether to display the tier progress slider.

  • Hide Tiered Points Slider Copy – Option to hide descriptive text related to the slider.

  • Custom Banner – Add a branded banner to your Loyalty User Account View and Redemption View.

  • Referral Program Description – Write a short, engaging description encouraging customers to refer friends.

  • Referral Share Message – Customize the message that customers will send to their contacts when sharing referral links.

  • Show/Hide Referrals – Enable or disable referral program visibility in the app.

Click Save & Enable to activate the integration.

Considerations:

  • Customers must be logged into their account to view or redeem loyalty rewards.

  • Subscription products may not be eligible for purchase using loyalty rewards.

  • Redeeming a reward is final — once claimed, points cannot be returned. If a customer doesn’t complete their purchase, the reward will remain as “Unclaimed” and can be used later.
